It did not recover my .xls file. I used a hex editor and was able to retrieve some data. Thanks anyway.

Someone recently deleted a lot of files by accident - the same day they were created so they had to be recovered from the trash. I used 2 different programs to do that - GetDataBack and Ontrack. All files were corrupt - Excel Recovery Tool 2.0 was only able to recover 1 out of 75 files - very disappointing.

sadly, it does nothing for corrupted formatting so I ended up saving the file as comma delimited text then creating an entirely new spreadsheet from it to reduce the file size from 15263kb to 57kb

It failed badly, jammed, could not be x'd out. Upgrad message came on and would not shut down.If your program could not work, how could I trust it to play around with my registry?

Although formatting is still not identical to the original data, the data IS identical (which was not totally true in the limited preview); and the format was AT LEAST as good as in your program (sometimes better). One example arose in regard to merged cells plus text wrap, where your representations of "NOT READ" were somewhat variable.

I really liked that the trial version showed the report on what was in the corrupted zip and what was able to be restored, before purchase. This was the impetus that prompted me to purchase it as I was assured that all of my data was able to be retrieved once I activated it. What could be clearer is the key delivery. It took a few hours to receive the instructions. At first I wasn\'t sure if I was getting a physical box shipped, or key delivery via email. I had a zip archive with two files reporting CRC errors. I had a vague hope that a zip repair tool could recover some of the content (after reading the marketing text).Unfortunately, the two tools I tried, yours and DiskInternal\'s, could not help at all in this situation.

Hoi.I did try the tool but it did not work well. Later i try to repair the usb stick with checkdisk and i created a new volume. The info on it was lost, but that was no problem to me. Can't recommend a program that doesn't work. You might consider enabling all functions long enough for someone to find out if everything works as it should and if it can do it without making things worse.

Kernel Excel Repair I try my best to recover through given software but most of column are left without retrieving data. So I don't think that this is a very good software. The data I retrive after useing that softerware is not use able because it does not retrive all colums data. So imporove your product please. Umer
